The old streets and the new ones are different jobs
Around the older part of Buda there are live oaks and cedar elms that have been there far longer than the houses under them. Big, low, wide crowns close to roofs, and a lot of accumulated deadwood in the top where nobody looks.
The newer developments out toward the interstate are the opposite problem — young trees, planted close together, many of them never pruned for structure. Neither is urgent today. Both get expensive if left long enough.

When should I get my live oak trimmed?
For anything non-urgent, outside February through June — that is the high-risk stretch for oak wilt here. Storm damage is the exception and gets sealed on the spot.
How close to the house can you work?
Right up to it. Tight work over roofs and drives is normal — it is rigged down in pieces rather than dropped, which takes longer and is quoted accordingly.
Do you clean up the same day?
Yes. Wood and brush go out on the truck, the drive and walkways get blown down, and you should not be able to tell we were there apart from the tree.
Can I keep the wood?
If you want it, say so and we will cut it to length and stack it. Otherwise it leaves with us.
